The FX dial controls how much of the effect from an outboard effect device, such as a
reverb or delay is added to the channel’s signal.
(F)
The Pan dial adjusts the placement of this channel’s audio in a stereo image—how
much of the signal is on the left or right side
(G) The Level dial controls the volume of the channel’s signal in the main mix.
(H) 1/4” stereo jacks (left and right channels) for devices that output stereo signals, such
as tape decks and CD players.
(I)
1/4” FX Send jack combines selected audio channel signals and routes it out to an
external effect device.
(J)
1/4” Stereo Aux Return jacks (left and right channels) receive audio back into the
mixer after it is processed by an external effect device connected to FX Send jack.
(K) 1/4” stereo headphone jack through which you are able to hear individual channels or
all channels.
(L)
1/4” stereo Ctrl Room Out jacks (left and right channels) are typically used to route
signal to stage monitor speakers.
(M) 1/4” stereo Main Out jacks (left and right channels) are typically used to route entire,
mixed signal to a recording device, such as a computer, or a set of speakers.
(N) The stereo Tape In RCA jacks are used to bring in audio from an external device,
such as a CD player or tape deck. The stereo Tape Out RCA jacks carry the same
signal as the Main Out jack and may also be used to connect a recording device,
such as a computer or tape deck.
(O) The Aux Return dial controls how much of the signal from an external effect plugged
into Aux Send/Return is included in the main mix.
(P)
The Phantom Power switch provides power to the XLR connectors.
(Q) LED display reveals mixer status as well as audio signal levels.
(R) The Main Mix dial controls the volume of the audio signal from Main Out.
(S)
The Phones/Ctrl Room dial simultaneously controls the volume of the headphone
and Ctrl Room signals.
(T)
When Tape to Mix switch is depressed, audio from a device (such as a tape deck)
connected to Tape In is added to the main mix.
