These graphics are commonly represented on Web pages featuring news or podcast
feeds, and allow visitors to quickly identify and subscribe to feed content.
Other common chicklets you might encounter include those labeled with
“Atom” and “RSS,” or even the ubiquitous, orange feed icon, pictured to the
right. Some of these feeds may be strictly textural news feeds, which iTunes can’t
display, so make sure it is a podcast feed before subscribing. I’ll offer some alternatives
to iTunes that can interpret both news and podcast feeds a bit later.
Clicking on either one of the CareerChat subscription chicklets will yield different results.
Go ahead and click on the iTunes chicklet. This will automatically open the CareerChat
directory in the iTunes Store, as illustrated in Figure 3.
