As shown in Figure 129, our blog’s sidebar now totally rocks our feed. Using the
procedures outlined above, you can also add the iTunes direct subscription link, if you’d
like. Since we planned for the addition of a feed for an enhanced podcast by creating a
second text box, let’s go ahead and cover that territory next.
Creating a Feed for Enhanced Episodes
At this point, we’ve created a feed for regular podcast episodes using WordPress and
FeedBurner. In order to make our enhanced episodes available to users of iTunes, we
must create a separate feed dedicated to the enhanced version.
While we don’t offer an enhanced feed for CareerChat, we use use Reinvented
Software’s award-winning Feeder RSS publisher ($29.95, Mac,
because, as you’ll recall, we don’t use blogging software, which would automatically
create a feed for us. Feeder will also do a great job of creating an enhanced feed, as I’ll
detail next.

To create a feed using Feeder, launch the application and select New Podcast from the
New Feed pulldown menu, as shown in Figure 130.
