1.
Change the post title (A) from “Hello World!” to “Vincent van Gogh,” the title of
our poscast episode.
7.
Change the WordPress default welcome message to a description of the episode
(B). Our description reads “Listen to Professor Yearwood discuss the life and art
of one of history's most prolific and enigmatic painters.” Ignore the HTML code
surrounding the word “Listen” for now—it’s a link that we’ll add in step 4.
8.
Highlight a word in the episode description—we’re going to make it a clickable
link to our MP3 file. In this example, we’ve highlighted “Listen” (C)
9.
Click the link button (D) to turn the word into a clickable link. As shown in Figure
109, a window will appear in which you’ll type the URL to the MP3 file you
uploaded to your server earlier. Click OK after entering the link to your file.
Figure 109: Enter the URL to your episode in the link window.
10. As shown in Figure 108, WordPress adds the necessary HTML to turn the
highlighted word into a clickable link.
11. When you’re satisfied that the post has been edited to liking, click Save and
Continue Editing (E).
12. Choose Options > General from the WordPress menu bar to give your blog an
appropriateTagline.
