Figure 97: After a connection is made to the server, Cyberduck
lists folders and files currently stored in your account.
If you’ve signed with a different host provider, you’ll probably see something similar—
several folders and files already placed in your account.
Professor Yearwood registered the ahpy.com domain at the same time he purchased his
hosting account. Thus, as shown in Figure 97, when the provider generated space on the
server for Professor Yearwood’s files, the ahpy.com folder (A) was also created for him.
This folder will contain all files we want to make public through ahpy.com (the domain
name).
It’s generally a good idea to create a separate folder in which to store your podcast
episodes. This helps keep things organized and tidy—kind of like keeping socks in the
socks drawer and shirts in the shirts drawer. If you’re the type who just throws everything
on the floor, you can just go ahead and dump all your files in the main directory and hear
about it later from your mother.
To create a folder in the main directory, double click the ahpy.com folder and select New
Folder from the Action pulldown menu, as shown in Figure 98.
